Pool Rules

 

 

The Buckhorn pool is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 

​

Hours of operation are 9am-10pm.

 

It is the responsibility of each resident to follow the Buckhorn Homeowners Association Pool Rules in order to maintain a safe environment for all to enjoy.

1. The Buckhorn swimming pool is for Association members in good standing and their guests only.

2. Buckhorn Homeowner’s Association reserves the right to issue and require pool keys.

3. Guest Policy:  Each member of the Association is allowed to bring up to two (2) guests to the pool and is responsible for each guest abiding by the posted rules.

4. All members and guests enter the pool at their own risk and agree to release Buckhorn Homeowner’s Association Inc., its members, officers and directors from any liability for any injury, loss of life or loss of personal property.

5. The pool will be closed during inclement weather and/or when the outside temperature is below 68 degrees.

6. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

7. The wading pool is reserved for children 6 years and younger.

8. Members are required to keep their area of the pool deck cleaned up during their visit and upon leaving the pool.

9. Sick individuals are excluded from using the pool. Persons with infectious diseases, open sores, recent vaccinations or ear infections will not be allowed in the water.

10. Persons who have had diarrhea within the last 2 weeks may not use the pool.

11. Proper swim attire is required for anyone in the water.  Babies must wear rubber pants or swim diapers.  Diapers are not allowed in the pool.

12. In the event a member of the Association, their dependant or their guest has a fecal accident which requires the closure and draining of the pool, the member of the Association is responsible for any and all costs associated with draining and refilling of the pool.

13. NO glass containers of any kind are permitted in the pool or pool area.

14. NO alcohol is permitted in the pool or pool area.

15. NO smoking is permitted in the pool or pool area.

16. NO horseplay or unnecessary roughness in the pool or restrooms.

17. NO running on the pool deck.

18. NO diving, flips or cartwheels or pushing others in to the pool.

19. NO spitting, spouting of water or blowing of the nose is permitted in the pool.

20. NO playing or hanging on ladders.

21. NO air inflated devices of any kind shall be used as the only means to support a non-swimmer.

22. NO animals or pets in the pool or on the pool patio.
